Hannah Huff-Schassburger is an Associate in the firm's Public Finance and Municipal Law Practice. She supports attorneys and clients through legal research, drafting, and strategic assistance across a range of areas in the municipal space.

Hannah advises clients relating to tax‑exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) for public charities, as well as drafts organizational documents for charitable entities. She has developed advisory materials for municipal boards, and has prepared economic development agreements for local government bodies, including easement, purchase and sale, and construction agreements in support of development projects. She also has experience working on corporate transaction and litigation matters.

Prior to joining Krieg DeVault as a full time attorney, Hannah served as a Summer Associate with the firm conducting legal research and drafting documents including letters of intent, call option agreements, and articles of merger, supporting attorneys across multiple practice groups. Prior to that, she served in a law clerk role where she prepared memoranda, motions, pleadings, and briefs, and attended client meetings and hearings. She also gained practical experience in legal writing and analysis through editorial work with a legal publication.
