Kendall Schnurpel Appointed Vice Chair of the Tax and Finance Practice Group at the American Health Law Association

Krieg DeVault is pleased to announce that Of Counsel attorney Kendall A. Schnurpel has been appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the Tax and Finance Practice Group at the American Health Law Association (AHLA), effective July 1, 2026.
AHLA is the nation's largest nonpartisan educational organization devoted to legal issues in the health care field, serving more than 12,000 members nationwide. In this volunteer leadership role, Schnurpel will help shape AHLA's educational programming and member engagement efforts in the area of tax and finance.

About Kendall A. Schnurpel
Kendall Schnurpel brings over twenty years of experience providing legal and tax advice to individuals, corporations and pass-through entities across the country. He concentrates his practice on assisting the firm's business and healthcare clients with tax law interpretation and planning at the federal, state and local levels. Mr. Schnurpel also has experience with the federal tax aspects of tax-exempt finance and tax-credits, including qualified 501(c)(3) bonds for health care, educational and cultural institutions, governmental bonds, private activity bonds, New Markets Tax Credits and Low Income Housing Tax Credits.
In addition to holding his law degree, Mr. Schnurpel is a Certified Public Accountant.
