Krieg DeVault is pleased to announce that Todd G. Relue has joined Krieg DeVault's Real Estate and Environmental Practice as a Partner. Mr. Relue brings extensive experience in brownfields redevelopment, environmental cost recovery, and commercial real estate.

Todd G. Relue concentrates his practice in the areas of complex litigation, environmental compliance, and commercial real estate with an emphasis on representing municipal clients in environmental cost recovery actions. He represents and advises businesses and public entities in environmental and insurance recovery matters at all stages of state and federal litigation. His broad real estate practice involves leasing, lending, construction, and acquisitions of properties from corner stores to multi-million dollar developments, with a focus on sites that have unique environmental concerns. He routinely guides public and private clients through the acquisition of brownfield sites, limiting their potential liability and clearing the path to redevelopment. He also regularly represents government agencies and property owners in condemnation actions.

Mr. Relue is a member of the Indiana Municipal Lawyer's Association and the Indiana Bar Association's Environmental Section Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Episcopal Chancellor's Network and serves as Chancellor of the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis. Mr. Relue was named a 2023-2024 class member for the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series for Emerging Leaders. Mr. Relue will practice from the Firm's Carmel office.
