Todd G. Relue concentrates his practice in the areas of complex litigation, environmental compliance, and commercial real estate with an emphasis on representing municipal clients in environmental cost recovery actions. He represents and advises businesses and public entities in environmental and insurance recovery matters at all stages of state and federal litigation. He regularly pursues responsible parties under Indiana’s Environmental Legal Action Statute, Underground Storage Tank Act, and Anti-Dumping Statute as well as the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (“CERCLA”).

Mr. Relue assists clients to investigate and remediate sites to protect Indiana communities while restoring the sites' economic potential. Throughout this work, Mr. Relue positions projects to maximize cost recovery opportunities from responsible parties and insurers.

Mr. Relue's broad real estate practice involves acquisition, leasing, lending and construction with a focus on sites that have unique environmental concerns. He advises clients on the management of environmental liability in transactions including the responsibility of insurers or responsible parties for cleanup costs. He regularly represents government entities and property owners in condemnation actions. Mr. Relue also serves as the Chancellor for the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis.
