Matthew D. Malcolm Joins Krieg DeVault’s Growing Real Estate Practice Group

Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that Matthew D. Malcolm has joined as a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice. He will be an integral member of the firm’s real estate team, providing counsel in all aspects of commercial real estate matters including the negotiation, development, acquisition, and disposition of commercial properties. Mr. Malcolm is well-versed in negotiating and drafting commercial, retail, and residential leases, development agreements, purchase and sale agreements, lending agreements, letters of intent, easements, access agreements, mortgages, and guarantees. He also represents clients on local land use and tax phase-in matters.
In addition to his real estate and land use practice, Mr. Malcolm has experience working with a variety of private sector businesses on entity formation, corporate governance issues, mergers and acquisitions transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, and other general corporate matters.
Mr. Malcolm is a graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and holds membership in the Indiana and American Bar Associations, the Brooks American Inn of Court, and the Southern Indiana Builders Association. Additionally, he is a past recipient of the Best Lawyers in America and Indiana Super Lawyers Rising Stars designations.
