Rachel Keller supports clients by conducting legal research, drafting transactional documents, and contributing to strategic analysis in matters involving corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities regulation. Her experience includes working with attorneys on issues related to entity formation, shareholder agreements, antitrust compliance, and estate tax implications in corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Rachel served as a Summer Associate with the firm, where she supported the business, real estate, employment, and health care practice groups. Ms. Keller also gained regulatory experience as a Legal Extern with the Indiana Gaming Commission, where she drafted settlement agreements and researched legislative developments. Her background includes litigation support in medical malpractice and personal injury matters, as well as supervisory experience in client services, where she led training initiatives and supported clients with tax-related compliance.

Representative Experience

  • Supported authors in a client-facing “Insight” analyzing the federal estate tax implications of shareholder buy-sell agreements following a Supreme Court decision.
  • Created internal reference materials to assist attorneys with transactional efficiency and legal analysis.
  • Drafted tax settlement agreements, charity gaming settlement agreements, and civil penalty complaints as a Legal Extern with the Indiana Gaming Commission.
  • Researched Indiana legislative bills and regulatory frameworks impacting business and gaming operations.
  • Drafted pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and demand letters in support of litigation involving medical malpractice and personal injury.
  • Summarized depositions and organized medical records to support trial preparation and case strategy.
  • Supervised client service operations in a prior corporate role, including training staff and resolving tax-related client inquiries (W-2, W-4, 940, 941, 1099, etc.).
