Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that George C. Lepeniotis has joined the firm’s Business, Acquisitions and Securities Practice Group as an Of Counsel Attorney. He will concentrate his practice in the areas of corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and construction, and litigation. Mr. Lepeniotis helps his clients navigate a variety of legal matters by combining his experience as a lawyer with his past experience in the banking industry and as a real estate developer and contractor.  

Throughout Mr. Lepeniotis’ legal career he has served as counsel in numerous commercial real estate transactions involving zoning, assessment, title, environmental and government incentives issues, as well as served as counsel in the sale, transfer and merger of multiple small to midsized closely held corporations.  In addition to his real estate and business background, Mr. Lepeniotis brings a wide range of litigation experience to the firm including discovery, motion practice, trials, alternative dispute resolution, and complex corporate negotiations.

Mr. Lepeniotis is very active in numerous professional and community organizations. He currently serves as public television co-host of WNIT Economic Outlook where he travels weekly throughout the Michiana area to bring viewers interesting content shaping the region's economy. 

Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Mr. Lepeniotis served as a Partner with Lee, Groves & Zalas in South Bend, Indiana, and as a Managing Partner of GRD Investments where he oversaw the daily activities of the company's real estate and medical facility development group. He is a graduate of Chicago Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology and will counsel clients from the firm’s North Central Indiana office.
