David Adams serves as Chair of the Firm's Real Estate and Environmental Practice. Mr. Adams concentrates his practice representing commercial real estate developers, investors, lenders, landlords, and tenants in connection with the development, financing, leasing, purchasing and selling of office, industrial, healthcare, multi-family and retail properties, and alternative energy projects. He also has extensive experience representing business owners in connection with entity formation, the acquisition and sale of businesses, as well as the negotiation and structuring of complex supply, distribution, and other general business agreements. Mr. Adams also represents developers, investors and lenders in alternative energy projects, including acquisitions, developments, and debt and tax equity financings of utility-scale wind and solar energy projects.

Representative Experience

  • Counsel and advise buyers, seller, borrowers, lenders, investors and municipalities on real estate of all product types, as well as corporate, lending, M&A, tax credit and municipal transactions
  • Conduct, oversee and/or assist with due diligence in real estate, corporate, lending, M&A, tax credit and municipal transactions
  • Represent buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders and investors in acquisition, construction, development, leasing and disposition of real estate 
  • Represent institutional investor and lender in connection with development and financing of $110 million, 200 MW solar project
  • Represent institutional investor and lender in connection with development and financing of $250 million, 300 MW wind project
  • Represent institutional investor and lender in connection with portfolio acquisition, development and financing of $530 million, 400 MW wind project
  • Represent borrowers and lenders on commercial debt and equity financing matters, including commercial real estate, corporate, ESOP and aircraft acquisitions
