Indianapolis, Indiana - The law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that its partner, William R. Neale, is the recipient of the 2008 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis.

A 1973 graduate of the Law School, Mr. Neale is the chair of the Krieg DeVault's Business Practice Group. Mr. Neale's practice includes general corporate, business and securities matters, and complex contractual transactions involving public-private partnerships of government activities.

Among his other activities, Mr. Neale is Chairman of the Board of United Student Aid Funds, the nation's largest student loan guarantor, and is Secretary and a Director of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce. Since 1989, he has served on the Law School's Board of Visitors and chaired the Board from 1990-1993. In 1992, he was appointed by President George H.W. Bush to a three-year term on the Council of the Administrative Conference of the U.S.

Mr. Neale resides in Fishers, Indiana with his wife Carolyn.
