Indianapolis, IN - C. Daniel Motsinger, a partner at the Indianapolis office of Krieg DeVault LLP and Chair of its Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group, has been selected as a co-author of the recently-published book, Bankruptcy Litigation and Dispute Resolution, in which he authored the chapter entitled "Life in the Fire House: Representing Creditors in Bankruptcy Cases."

Bankruptcy Litigation and Dispute Resolution, a part of the critically-acclaimed Inside the Minds series published by Aspatore Books, a Thomson business, is an authoritative, insider's perspective on best practices for litigating and resolving bankruptcy disputes, and features chapters authored by partners and chairs from many of the nation's leading law firms. Through his chapter "Life in the Fire House: Representing Creditors in Bankruptcy Cases," Mr. Motsinger explores the realities of representing a creditor in a bankruptcy case, and offers practical suggestions as to how the lawyer-client working relationship in such cases may be strengthened to both parties' mutual advantage.

Mr. Motsinger concentrates his practice in creditors' rights, bankruptcy, workouts and commercial law. He chairs the firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group, and is certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification of Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Attorneys, on whose board of directors Mr. Motsinger currently serves as Treasurer. The focus of his practice involves representing secured lenders and financial institutions in insolvency-related litigation and bankruptcy cases both in Indiana and elsewhere in the nation. A significant part of his practice is representing individuals or entities seeking to acquire assets from distressed enterprises, both in and out of bankruptcy court. He is a 1982 cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, and a 1979 summa cum laude graduate (as co-valedictorian) of Hillsdale College (Hillsdale, Michigan).

Krieg DeVault LLP is a 130-professional, diversified law firm representing a wide variety of local, regional and national clients.
