Indianapolis, Indiana - C. Daniel Motsinger, a partner of Krieg DeVault LLP and Chair of its Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group, has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Board for the American Bankruptcy Institute's Central States Bankruptcy Workshop, which is held annually in June in Traverse City, Michigan.

Mr. Motsinger officially was announced as a new member of the Advisory Board on Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Fifteenth Annual Central States Bankruptcy Workshop held in Traverse City, Michigan.

The American Bankruptcy Institute is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. ABI's national and regional conferences and workshops are highly rated in the bankruptcy community for their thorough discussions of the latest developments and the opportunities to earn continuing legal and professional education. ABI was founded in 1982 to provide Congress and the public with unbiased analysis of bankruptcy issues. The ABI membership includes more than 11,500 attorneys, auctioneers, bankers, judges, lenders, professors, turnaround specialists, accountants and other bankruptcy professionals providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. Mr. Motsinger concentrates his practice in creditors' rights, bankruptcy, workouts and commercial law. He is certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification of Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Attorneys, on whose board of directors Mr. Motsinger currently serves as Treasurer. The focus of his practice involves representing secured lenders and financial institutions in insolvency-related litigation and bankruptcy cases both in Indiana and elsewhere in the nation. A significant part of his practice is representing individuals or entities seeking to acquire assets from distressed enterprises, both in and out of bankruptcy court. He is a 1982 cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, and a 1979 summa cum laude graduate (as co-valedictorian) of Hillsdale College (Hillsdale, Michigan).
