Daniel Motsinger, a partner at the Indianapolis office of Krieg DeVault LLP and Chair of its Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group, once again has been selected as co-author of a recently-published book, Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Law 2008, in which he authored the chapter entitled "A Closer Look at Post-BAPCPA Trends."

Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Law 2008, a part of the critically-acclaimed Thought Leadership series published by Aspatore Books, a Thomson business, discusses the key upcoming trends in bankruptcy and financial restructuring Law for 2008, highlighting the major milestones over the past year and providing a forecast for the year ahead. Through his chapter "A Closer Look at Post-BAPCPA Trends," Mr. Motsinger discusses the effects of Congress' 2005 Bankruptcy Code amendments on business entities as they seek alternative means for resolving their financial difficulties.

He chairs the firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group, and is certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification of Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Attorneys, on whose board of directors Mr. Motsinger currently serves as Treasurer. The focus of his practice involves representing secured lenders and financial institutions in insolvency-related litigation and bankruptcy cases both in Indiana and elsewhere in the nation. A significant part of his practice is representing individuals or entities seeking to acquire assets from distressed enterprises, both in and out of bankruptcy court. He is a 1982 cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, and a 1979 summa cum laude graduate (as co-valedictorian) of Hillsdale College (Hillsdale, Michigan).
