Indianapolis, Indiana - The law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that its Partner, C. Daniel Motsinger, has been elected as President-Elect of the Board of Directors of the American Board of Certification of Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Attorneys ("ABC"). Mr. Motsinger has been Certified in Business Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification since 1994.

The ABC, headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is the nation's premier legal specialty certification organization, having certified nearly 1,000 attorneys as specialists in business bankruptcy, consumer bankruptcy and creditors' rights law. As a non-profit organization, it is committed to providing progressive and responsible leadership in the field of legal specialization. Furthermore, ABC certification encourages attorneys to strive toward excellence, and recognizes those attorneys who have met the rigorous ABC certification standards. Mr. Motsinger is the Chair of Krieg DeVault LLP's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group, and concentrates his practice in creditors' rights, bankruptcy, workouts and commercial law. The focus of his practice involves representing secured lenders and financial institutions in insolvency-related litigation and bankruptcy cases both in Indiana and elsewhere in the nation. A significant part of his practice is representing individuals or entities seeking to acquire assets from distressed enterprises, both in and out of bankruptcy court. He is a 1982 cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, and a 1979 summa cum laude graduate (as co-valedictorian) of Hillsdale College (Hillsdale, Michigan).

Mr. Motsinger, who is admitted to practice in Indiana, California and Florida, resides in Indianapolis, Indiana, and represents clients out of the firm's Indianapolis office.
