Krieg DeVault Adds Associates Hannah Huff-Schassburger, Rachel Keller, Ashley Rosenblatt, and Courtney Thompson

Krieg DeVault LLP is pleased to announce that Hannah Huff-Schassburger, Rachel Keller, Ashley Rosenblatt, and Courtney Thompson have joined the firm as Associates in our Indianapolis office. Huff-Schassburger will provide counsel to the firm’s clients in the Financial Institutions Practice; Keller and Rosenblatt in the Business Services Practice; and Thompson in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice.
About the Associates
Hannah K. Huff-Schassburger supports attorneys and clients through legal research, drafting, and strategic assistance across a range of practice areas. Her experience includes working on matters involving corporate transactions, litigation, and contract drafting.
As a Summer Associate with Krieg DeVault, Hannah conducted legal research and drafted documents including letters of intent, call option agreements, and articles of merger, supporting attorneys across multiple practice groups. Prior to that, she served in a law clerk role where she prepared memoranda, motions, pleadings, and briefs, and attended client meetings and hearings to inform her work. Additionally, Hannah gained practical experience in legal writing and analysis through editorial work with a legal publication.
Rachel J. Keller supports clients by conducting legal research, drafting transactional documents, and contributing to strategic analysis in matters involving corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities regulation. Her experience includes working with attorneys on issues related to entity formation, shareholder agreements, antitrust compliance, and estate tax implications in corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Rachel served as a Summer Associate with the firm, where she supported the business, real estate, employment, and health care practice groups. Ms. Keller also gained regulatory experience as a Legal Extern with the Indiana Gaming Commission, where she drafted settlement agreements and researched legislative developments. Her background includes litigation support in medical malpractice and personal injury matters, as well as supervisory experience in client services, where she led training initiatives and supported clients with tax-related compliance.
Ashley N. Rosenblatt supports clients through strategic legal counsel in business transactions, regulatory compliance, and legislative matters. Her experience includes advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and public policy issues. Prior to joining Krieg DeVault as an Associate, Ashley served as a Law Clerk with the firm and now contributes to the Business, Acquisitions, and Securities Practice, where she assists clients with foundational documentation, buy-sell agreements, and operational planning strategies.
Ashley previously held legal externships with the Indiana Gaming Commission and the Indiana Commercial Court, where she conducted legal research, drafted advisory memoranda, and contributed to published judicial orders involving complex commercial disputes. She also supported the Commission’s legislative and regulatory initiatives, including preparing executive analyses for presentation to the Indiana General Assembly. Before entering the legal field, Ashley built a successful career in the beverage industry, managing multimillion-dollar portfolios and leading strategic growth initiatives across sales and brand management roles.
Courtney D. Thompson supports clients by conducting legal research, drafting memoranda, and assisting with litigation strategy across a range of matters. Her experience includes assisting attorneys on issues involving commercial disputes, employment law, and appellate procedure.
Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Courtney served as a Summer Associate with the firm, supporting attorneys in employment law, corporate litigation, and appellate matters. She also held clerkship positions, where she assisted with case analysis, legal research, and memoranda preparation across a range of litigation issues, including contract disputes and class action defense. Additionally, she gained practical experience as a student attorney in the Civil Practice Clinic and completed a judicial externship with the Commercial Court in Indianapolis.
