Julie Rosenwinkel has over 30 years of providing legal counsel in the areas of health care and health care litigation. Throughout her career, she has focused her practice on defending hospitals, their employed staff and employed physicians in medical malpractice actions. She also advises health care clients on various matters including peer review privilege, medical records production requests, emergency detentions and medical consent issues.
Ms. Rosenwinkel often represents clients in response to consumer complaints against their professional licensure before appropriate licensing boards, and has been involved in several guardianship issues surrounding incapacitated adults. She also prepares position statements to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on behalf of employers in response to claims and defends the claim if they move beyond the EEOC to state court. Additionally, she routinely defends premises liability cases pertaining to safety issues occurring at organizations of all sizes.

- Efficiently and successfully represents both hospitals and physicians as lead counsel in numerous medical malpractice actions filed with the Indiana Department of Insurance
- Secured dismissals, via summary judgment or voluntary dismissal, of numerous state court actions
