Parker E. Lawton advises businesses through a variety of legal challenges and opportunities associated with factoring, secured lending, commercial finance, corporate structuring, governmental regulation, and employment issues. His experience representing a number of companies in the finance industry, which demands deals get done quickly and closed properly, has instilled Parker with a client-centric approach to his practice. While Parker’s practice focuses on transactional representation, he has also gained substantial litigation experience.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Lawton co-managed a private equity investment company. The lessons he learned and the skills he developed from that experience have made him a better lawyer and advocate on his clients’ behalf while crafting legal solutions to business problems.

Lawton believes the need for legal services boils down to two fundamental questions: what problems need to be addressed in order to achieve a strategic goal and how to best approach the hurdles that stand in the way of accomplishing that objective. Lawton's clients are smart, tenacious and driven. They know what they want to achieve, and his role is to figure out best means to arrive at that destination. Their vision guides his practice. Making that vision a reality is what drives his work.
