As a member of our Business Acquisitions & Securities Practice Group, Laura Trznadel brings over 30 years of legal experience to Krieg DeVault. Ms. Trznadel's main concentration is in estate planning such as wills and trusts. She coordinates and assists in the probate of testate and intestate estates, as well as, the transfer of assets held under a trust. Ms. Trznadel works closely with clients involved in guardianships of adults and minors.
In addition, her transactional background enables her to assist clients and attorneys in organizing limited liability companies and incorporate entities throughout the United States. Ms. Trznadel also has extensive residential real estate transaction experience with title commitments, appraisals, offers to purchase, and deeds.
Before joining Krieg DeVault, Ms. Trznadel was a Subrogation Supervisor with a mid-size Northwest Indiana law firm where she developed extensive litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense and collection.
Representative Experience
- Extensive contact with clients, court staff, attorneys, realtors, and appraisers to coordinate meetings, hearings, and closings.
- Assisted attorney in collection of substantial verdict for minor plaintiff suffering brain injury after being struck by vehicle while riding bicycle.
- Documentation maintained and work performed on post-judgment collection matter resulted in Judge denying motion to set aside default judgment, enabling collection of a substantial amount for client.
