Hilary Leighty devotes her practice to all areas and phases of litigation, including complex business and commercial matters.
Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Ms. Leighty worked in a Marion County commercial court serving as an Extern for Judge Heather Welch. Ms. Leighty also served as a Certified Legal Intern at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office where she gained trial and other on the record experience in a variety of misdemeanor criminal matters. Before embarking on her legal career, Ms. Leighty worked as a business development associate in 3M’s Health Information Systems division, where she gained valuable knowledge in the areas of healthcare billing technology, medical coding, and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement. Ms. Leighty’s prior experience in sales developed the client-centric approach she takes when confronting all types of legal issue
