Linda Cooley joined Krieg DeVault LLP in 1994 and retired in 2014. She was a long-time member of the firm's Litigation and Labor and Employment Law Practice Groups, serving as Chair of the firm's Labor and Employment Practice Group until her retirement. Ms. Cooley’s practice focused upon business and commercial litigation, employment law, and appellate law. As an experienced appellate counsel, Ms. Cooley managed litigation with an eye towards developing a record useful in seeking dispositive rulings, marshalling evidence for trial, and setting the stage for successful appeals. Ms. Cooley’s experience in employment law included litigating cases in federal and state courts on issues including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Restrictive Covenants, defending clients before city and county EEOC agencies, and advising companies on developing personnel policies and handbooks, terminating employees, and providing guidance on the interpretation and implementation of Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, and NLRA issues in the workplace. Ms. Cooley is retired from the practice of law.
