As a member of our Estate Planning Practice Group, Laura Trznadel brings 33 years of legal experience to Krieg DeVault. Her concentration is in probate and estate planning. Laura assists clients in the administration of probate which includes preparing state and federal inheritance tax returns. Laura also works with clients involved in guardianships of adults and minors.

Before joining Krieg DeVault, Laura was a Subrogation Supervisor with a mid-size law firm in Northwest Indiana and has extensive litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense. In addition, Laura’s transactional background enables her to assist clients and attorneys in real estate transactions.

Representative Experience

  • Extensive contact with clients, court staff, attorneys, realtors, and appraisers to coordinate meetings, hearings, and closings.
  • Assisted attorney in collection of substantial verdict for minor plaintiff suffering brain injury after being struck by vehicle while riding bicycle.
  • Documentation maintained and work performed on post-judgment collection matter resulted in Judge denying motion to set aside default judgment, enabling collection of a substantial amount for client.
