Michael R. Becher, Former Managing Partner of Deloitte's Indianapolis Office, Joins Krieg DeVault

Krieg DeVault is pleased to announce that Michael R. Becher, CPA has joined Krieg DeVault as a Strategic Advisor. Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Becher served as Partner with Deloitte as well as Managing Partner of its Indianapolis office.
Becher will focus his efforts on identifying opportunities and growing business initiatives within the firm’s established and emerging practice areas. During his 36-year career at Deliotte, Becher held several leadership positions including Indianapolis Office Managing Partner, Regional Managing Partner – Ohio Valley Region, National Practice Leader – Middle Market Practice, and Audit Partner. Additionally he served on high-profile committees such as the U.S. National Executive Committee – Audit and Risk Advisory Services and the Global Middle Market Committee.
Beyond Becher’s professional achievements at Deloitte, he has been an active business and civic leader, as well as a board member of several community organizations. He serves on the boards of directors for the Financial Executives Institute, First Merchants Corporation, United Way of Central Indiana, and Crossroads of America Boy Scout Council. He sits on the Board of Trustees at Marian University, the Dean’s Advisory Committee at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, the Audit Committee at St. Vincent Health Corporation, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society.
