Libby Yin Goodknight, Executive Committee Member and Chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, has been inducted as a Fellow of the prestigious Litigation Counsel of America.

The Litigation Counsel of America is a peer-selected, invitation-only honorary society comprised of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellows are selected based upon effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.

Ms. Goodknight focuses her work in the areas of business and commercial litigation, with a significant emphasis on motion and appellate practice. She has versatility in a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including shareholder, contract, and other business disputes; covenants not to compete; trade secret enforcement; financial institution liability; trust and estate litigation involving corporate fiduciaries; antitrust issues; RICO; securities fraud; constitutional claims; government contracting and bidder disputes; administrative agency actions; and class and collective actions, including those involving wage and hour issues and bank overdraft charges. She has served as counsel in jury trials involving questions of negligence, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, RICO violations, and toxic exposure. Ms. Goodknight has argued before the Indiana Court of Appeals, Indiana Supreme Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She is active in the local appellate bar, serving on the Executive Committee of the Appellate Practice Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association and a regular volunteer judge for the Indiana Appellate Institute.

Ms. Goodknight is also active in firm management, serving her second term on the firm's five-member Executive Committee, as a long-time member and previous Chair of the Professional Personnel Committee, and on the firm's Talent Acquisition Committee. From 2017-2019, she has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Women Attorneys in the State by Indiana Super Lawyers.
