Sonja A. Kriegsmann

Ms. Kriegsmann is a member of the firm’s Financial Institutions Practice Group and concentrates her practice in the areas of banking and regulatory compliance.

Ms. Kriegsmann’s experience spans 30 years in the banking industry, 18 of which as an attorney.  Ms. Kriegsmann has worked as in-house counsel and in private practice advising banks on a wide variety of compliance and legal issues.  She is the current Compliance Consultant with the Indiana Bankers Association where she supports the Compliance Connection product (an assistance program offering advice on Indiana-specific compliance questions) offered to its members and authors monthly compliance articles for the Hoosier Banker magazine.  Most recently, Ms. Kriegsmann worked as in-house counsel for Huntington National Bank (f/k/a Sky Bank) and as a Compliance Officer for Union Federal Bank of Indianapolis.
