Mark T. Stephenson
Mark Stephenson is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group where he concentrates his practice primarily in the area of patent preparation and prosecution. Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Mark gained experience as an associate attorney at a law firm concentrating in intellectual property law. Mark’s previous technical experience includes working for several years as an aerospace engineer at the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center. While at NASA he gained experience in feedback control systems on a variety of flight projects including the X-43A, the F-15 ACTIVE and the F/A-18 PSFCC. Mark last held the position of NASA Dryden's Lead Flight Controls Engineer for the X-43A.
Representative Experience
- Prepared and prosecuted U.S. patent applications and provided coordination of corresponding international/foreign patent filing and prosecution
- Assisted in providing counsel regarding acquisition of third party Intellectual Property portfolio
- Prepared patentability assessments for invention disclosures to evaluate patent coverage in selected technology area
- Assisted in preparing patent infringement opinions
