Laura A. Brown is a member of the Governmental Affairs & Public Advocacy Practice Group, serving as a Governmental Affairs Associate.  She is responsible for representing clients at various levels of government, in addition to managing the federal, state legislative, state executive, and local lobby compliance for the practice group.  Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Ms. Brown worked for the Indiana State Senate for four legislative sessions, most recently as the Deputy Majority Attorney.  At the State Senate, she worked closely with the Majority Caucus to review and summarize legislative documents and research and prepare memoranda for constituents.  She also provided legal research and guidance to legislators on policy initiatives and legal inquiries.  Ms. Brown led the State Senate's extensive intern recruitment efforts as well.  Ms. Brown also previously interned with the Indiana Republican Party, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, the Sagamore Institute, and the State Senate as a legislative intern.
