Kevin G. Buchheit, AICP

Kevin Buchheit, an urban/land use planner, is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Environmental, Commercial and Real Estate Lending and Municipal Practice Groups.

Mr. Buchheit’s career spans two states and more than 20 years, during which he worked at the small town, city, county and state levels advocating for sound community planning. His range of experiences covers the spectrum of community development from planning and zoning to impact fees and code enforcement. Mr. Buchheit has been involved on the boards of two state chapters of the American Planning Association; he is a Past President of the Indiana Chapter where he has been an active board member for more than 10 years.

Representative Experience

• Assisted in the preparation and presentation of successful rezoning petitions before Plan Commissions in various communities across Indiana
• Assisted in the preparation and presentation of successful zoning variance requests before Boards of Zoning Appeals in various communities across Indiana
• Researched numerous on-line land use ordinances and land records for communities in Indiana and nearby states
