Karen L. DeJong

Karen is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and assists in the defense of medical malpractice claims filed against hospitals and their employed physicians. Karen has been a paralegal in the medical malpractice field for over 13 years. Karen has begun assisting in the Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group.

Representative Experience

• Prepares initial discovery requests and assists in the preparation of discovery responses.
• Summarizes discovery responses and prepares medical record chronologies.
• Drafts motions for summary judgment.
• Researches physicians nominated to Medical Review Panels and assists attorneys in determining physicians to strike from the panels.
