Josh Hague joined Krieg DeVault LLP in 2001 after practicing as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office.  Mr. Hague has first-chair jury trial experience protecting the rights of domestic abuse victims and prosecuting drunk drivers.  

Mr. Hague’s current legal practice is devoted primarily to litigation.  Mr. Hague has extensive experience defending clients in all stages of litigation in cases involving breach of contract, covenants not to compete, negligence, and trade secret litigation.  He has experience representing small and large businesses, physicians and medical practices, and hospital systems in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies.  Mr. Hague counsels clients on their hiring and firing practices, the development of effective employee handbooks, and preparing employment agreements.  During his career, Mr. Hague has tried over 30 cases to verdict.

  • Lead counsel for aviation contractor in multi-million dollar breach of contract lawsuit
  • Lead counsel for large regional business machine and service company
  • Lead litigation counsel for regional hospital system
  • Co-counsel in sale of $13 million business machine company
  • Counseled medium and large companies in preparing and defending non-competition agreements
  • Counsel of record in Capehart v. Capehart, 771 N.E.2d 657 (Ind. Ct. App. 2002)
