Jeffrey M. Monberg

Mr. Monberg is a member of the firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy and Litigation Practice Groups, as well as the firm's Employment and Health Care Practice Groups.  His practice focuses on representing lenders and other secured and unsecured creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings and in state court matters, such as commercial foreclosures, collections, receiverships, and lender liability cases.  He also is experienced in representing lenders in out-of-court workouts, such as forbearance agreements.  Mr. Monberg is admitted to practice in Indiana and Illinois. Mr. Monberg's practice focuses on representing clients in Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area.

Representative Experience

• Foreclosure and sale of a variety of commercial properties, including construction developments, retail, industrial and office rental property, and 100+ unit apartment building
• Represents lenders in foreclosures and bankruptcy cases in which loans are secured by collateral located in Indiana and Illinois
• Represent banks and other financial institutions of all sizes in commercial litigation matters including lender liability claims
