James G. McIntire

Of Counsel

Mr. McIntire is currently a member of the firm's Employment Law and Health Care Practice Groups and serves the firm in an Of Counsel capacity. For twenty-three years, his focus was defense trial and appellate work and commercial law. Mr. McIntire represented firm clients in mediations, trials and appeals, including oral argument at the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. McIntire has served as Chair of the firm's Employment Law Practice Group and Recruiting and Associates Committees. Since 1999, Mr. McIntire has been serving in an Of Counsel capacity at Krieg DeVault, concentrating in health care law. Mr. McIntire also served as General Counsel to the Indiana State Medical Association and from 2007 - present has been the Executive Vice President of the Association.

Representative Experience

Responsible for selecting cases and assisting in preparation of briefs/arguments in nine amicus matters before the Indiana Courts of Appeal and/or Indiana Supreme Court, 1999 - Present (dealing with Indiana medical malpractice issues)
Responsible for implementing legislative agenda of Indiana State Medical Association, 2007 - Present
