Krieg DeVault LLP Announces Libby Y. Mote as Service Group Chair within the Firm's Litigation Practice Group

Indianapolis, IN - Indianapolis-based corporate law firm Krieg DeVault LLP has named Partner Libby Y. Mote as Appellate Service Group Chair.

This group will provide strategic services to existing and potential clients and referral sources in all aspects of appellate practice.

The mission of this group is to enhance the firm's significant depth and experience in handling appeals before state and federal appellate courts in Indiana and elsewhere. In addition to serving the traditional appellate needs of clients through effective brief-writing, persuasive oral argument, and a command of the rules of procedure, the group will offer counseling in all facets of litigation, including pre-trial motion practice, the development of legal strategy, and the preservation of issues for appeal.

Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Ms. Mote clerked for the Honorable James S. Kirsch, the Honorable Sanford M. Brook (ret.), and the Honorable Edward W. Najam, Jr. of the Indiana Court of Appeals. The other members of the firm's Appellate Service Group will be Linda J. Cooley, Thomas J. Costakis, Max W. Hittle, Jr., Debra A. Mastrian, Jeffrey C. McDermott, Mark J.R. Merkle, Anthony W. Mommer, C. Daniel Motsinger, Marc T. Quigley, and Greg A. Small. The members of the Appellate Service Group have a well-respected track record appearing before the Indiana Supreme Court and the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Several members have also served as state or federal appellate court clerks.
