Indianapolis, Indiana - The law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP, Indianapolis, Indiana, is pleased to announce that partner Christopher D. Long has been elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors of Children's Bureau, Inc.

Children's Bureau, Inc. is a private, nonprofit child and family services agency. It is licensed by the State of Indiana and accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children, Inc. Children's Bureau makes agency services available and affordable to all families and children. Agency programs are funded in part by the United Way of Central Indiana, the Indiana Department of Family and Social Services Administration, individuals and other private and public foundations and organizations.

Christopher Long has over 20 years of experience in private practice after graduating summa cum laude from Indiana University - School of Law in 1983. Mr. Long conducts complex and multi-faceted real estate transactions. His representation includes developers of commercial properties, such as office buildings, retail stores and industrial parks, as well as residential developers who deal with subdivisions and undeveloped land. Mr. Long works in all aspects of real estate encompassing strategic planning, acquisition of property, arrangement and negotiation of financing, zoning and like-kind exchanges. In addition to his real estate practice, Mr. Long represents commercial and real estate lending institutions and is involved with business organization planning, including the formation of limited liability companies.

Mr. Long formerly served as board member and President of United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Indiana, Inc., a United Way agency.

Mr. Long resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.
