Krieg DeVault LLP Appoints Linda J. Cooley as Chairperson of Employment Law Practice Group

Indianapolis, Indiana – The law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP, Indianapolis, Indiana, is pleased to announce that Linda J. Cooley has been appointed to serve as Chairperson of the firm's Employment Law Practice Group.

Ms. Cooley, a native of New Jersey, graduated cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law in 1992.  Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Ms. Cooley served as law clerk to the Honorable Patrick Sullivan, Indiana Court of Appeals.  Ms. Cooley’s practice focuses on business and commercial litigation, employment law, and mental health law.  Her experience in employment law includes litigating cases in federal and state courts, defending clients before city and county EEO agencies, defending clients before OSHA on Sarbanes-Oxley complaints, and advising companies on developing personnel policies and handbooks, terminating employees, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.  Ms. Cooley is a presenter at seminars discussing FMLA issues, access to employee records, and general personnel matters.
