A graduate of Indiana University and the Indiana University School of Law, Mr. Kirkwood provides tax and securities advice to clients including cities, towns, colleges and universities, school and fire districts, investment banks, commercial banks, nonprofit organizations, real estate development firms and manufacturers. Additionally, Mr. Kirkwood represents various nationally recognized energy companies in the renewable fuels industry, as well as senior lenders, junior lenders and equity providers for project finance transactions in the renewable fuels industry.  Mr. Kirkwood serves as the chairman of the Advisory Board of Directors of the Richard G. Lugar Center for Renewable Energy at Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis and is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association.  Mr. Kirkwood is the past Indiana chairperson for the American Bar Association Forum Committee on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law.
