Jonathan Anderson concentrates his practice in community revitalization, including tax-advantaged private investment utilizing New Market Tax Credits, Rehabilitation/Historic Tax Credits, Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Indiana state tax credits and incentives. Mr. Anderson is a member of the firm's Business, Public Finance, Municipal, Lending, Tax and Real Estate Practice Groups. Mr. Anderson represents developers, contractors, lenders, investors and general partners in a variety of transactions involving community revitalization, historic rehabilitation and affordable housing. His experience encompasses commercial and real estate finance, public finance, real estate, financial institutions, government representation and general business matters, including tax credits, incentives and partnership taxation. Mr. Anderson has also represented clients in construction and permanent financing and the acquisition, development and disposition of commercial, office, retail, industrial and residential developments. Projects have also included other types of public funding, including HOPE VI, AHP , HOME, CDBG and state grants.
Mr. Anderson graduated from Indiana University School of Law Indianapolis in 1996. He was a law clerk for the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission after internships with Judge John P. Godich in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and U.S. Senator Richard G. Lugar, R-Ind.
