John H. Allie was born in Rochester, New York.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1983 from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1986 from the Indiana University Graduate School of Business.  He received a J.D. degree, summa cum laude, in 1993 from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis, where he was an Associate Editor of the Indiana Law Review.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Allie obtained over eight years of technical experience at three Fortune 500 companies.
