Mr. Heaton graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003 with a degree in Finance.  In 2006, Mr. Heaton graduated magna cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law Indianapolis, where he was an Articles Editor for the Indiana Law Review, named to the Order of Barristers, and served on the Dean's Tutorial Society.  Mr. Heaton also graduated from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a Master of Business Administration degree in 2006.

Mr. Heaton is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations and the American Health Lawyers Association.  Mr. Heaton focuses his practice in the areas of health care and business.
