Brad A. Schepers was born in Jasper, Indiana.  He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology, magna cum laude, in 1990 from the University of Southern Indiana.  He received his J.D., summa cum laude, in 1998 from the Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis, where he graduated first in his law school class.  Mr. Schepers was Note Development Editor for the Indiana Law Review, which published an article authored by him entitled "Interpretation of Patent Process Claims In Light of the Narrowing Effect of 35 U.S.C. 112(6)".  Mr. Schepers obtained over six years of technical experience as a mechanical engineer at a major tier-one supplier of automotive electrostatic paint application equipment and robotics systems.
